Who are We

Eve Pacific Media is an affiliate marketing firm that provides support and guidance to those contemplating or who have chosen to become content creators. We help aspiring bloggers, content creators, and affiliate marketers with their strategies.

My relationship with multi-level marketing or network marketing started back in the late 80s. I have had involvement with Shaklee, Primerica, Amway, and, yes, the infamous Consumer Buyline. I enjoyed various levels of success. Back then, I aspired to become an MLM or Network Marketing Pro. Savvy top MLM earners would build massive downlines, breakaway, and move to programs with the most lucrative opportunities during that era. This was a common practice before many States barred those multilevel marketing schemes.

Our goal at Eve Pacific Media is to use my vast experience to benefit others with a series of reviews of multi-level marketing companies.

We often hear MLM companies’ claims about money-making, but it is not an easy job. You need robust skills and personality attributes to make sales. ACN (American Communication Network Inc.) has made money-making easy for you. Making sales is easier when you know products and services.

In ACN’s case, you sell telecommunication services. That’s easier to sell as you know about their use by personnel experience. In this review of ACN, we’ll explore some common questions about whether ACN is a good opportunity for you or not. How to sell its products, and is there any truth in its claims?

What is ACN MLM?

ACN (American Communications Network Inc.) is a multi-level marketing company that sells telecommunication services. Its services are

●       Landline telephony

●       VOIP (Voice over the internet protocol)

●       Satellite television

●       Mobile phone services

●       Home security services

The company is located in Concord, North Carolina, and was founded by Robert Stevanovski, Tony and Mike Cupisz, and Greg Provenzano in 1993. ACN operates in more than 25 countries and has over 200,000 independent representatives.

As of now, ACN is the largest distributor of telecom services, and its revenue reached $3.39 billion in the third quarter of 2021. Former President Donald Trump maintained a business relationship with the company from 2006 to 2015.

How does ACN Work?

The working of ACN, like any other MLM company, consists of two primary tasks.

  1. Selling products
  2. Recruiting other people

To start your journey as an independent business owner, you need to sign an agreement with the company. You have to pay a business start-up fee of $199 and $25/month charges to keep selling services of ACN. You will be a business owner, not an employee of the company.

Can You Make Money with ACN MLM?

There are three ways to earn money with ACN

1.    Personnel commissions

Personnel commissions or residual is the income you earn from your personnel customers. You get 2-8% residual income from their monthly bills.

2.              Team residual/commissions

When your recruits join other people in their downline, you receive a commission on that. You receive a bonus of 0.25% from levels 2-5, 1% on level 6, and 6% on level 7.

3.              Customer acquisition bonuses

This is a one-time upfront bonus you receive upon recruiting new customers to ACN. It ranges from $90-$275 based on your leadership rank.

ACN MLM Review – Program Specifics

When you sign up as an IBO (independent business owner), you have to pay an initial startup fee. You will get a personalized website where you sell the company’s services. You have to pay a monthly fee to keep using this web portal.

The training and support are available on the personalized website. Then the company expects you to hire new customers. You attend training events and parties to look for potential customers who want to become IBO. You learn about your system and how to recruit people during training.

Then you can start telling your friends, family, and people on social media about your portal. Other ways to reach customers include holding a booth at a local mall or market and hosting video calls.

Pros

Trusted company

The company has been working since 1993. They are a member of DSA (Direct Selling Association) and are accredited by BBB (Better Business Bureau). All these thighs show their reliability and compliance with rules and regulations.

Residual income

You can expect a monthly residual income if you bring in a few customers. But rates are low.

Products are easier to sell

ACN sells products and services that people use in their daily routines. You don’t need to create demand. Provide people with better pages and start selling.

Cons

High upfront cost

The cost of starting a business with ACN is very high. Also, it is difficult to join new people as to why they will participate if they get services at cheaper rates from a service provider.

Lengthy qualification period

All customers who joined ACN must wait 60 days for activation after the IBO qualification period. This is quite a long waiting time that is unbearable for most people.

Is ACN MLM Legitimate?

ACN is not a scam as they have stood the test of time (more than 25 years). The company appears legit because they are very open about the money-making process. At the bottom of their website, it is mentioned that nearly 1% IBOs made an annual income. That’s the real problem with all MLMs. Almost 99% of people lose money.

Final Thoughts

It requires hard work and effective convincing skills to make money with ACN. It is challenging to deal with customers and drive sales when other options are available to them at cheaper rates. Consider your personality, values, and skills before joining an opportunity like the ACN; otherwise, you will lose way more than expected earnings.
