Who are We

who are we: Market America MLM Review

Eve Pacific Media is an affiliate marketing firm that provides support and guidance to those contemplating or who have chosen to become content creators. We help aspiring bloggers, content creators, and affiliate marketers with their strategies.

My relationship with multi-level marketing or network marketing started in the late 80s. I have had involvement with Shaklee, Primerica, Amway, and, yes, the infamous Consumer Buyline. I enjoyed various levels of success. Back then, I aspired to become an MLM or Network Marketing Pro. Savvy top MLM earners would build massive downlines, breakaway, and move to programs with the most lucrative opportunities during that era. This was a common practice before many States barred those multi-level marketing schemes.

Our goal at Eve Pacific Media is to use my vast experience to benefit others with a series of reviews of multi-level marketing companies.

What is MARKET AMERICA MLM?

Market America is a network marketing business that was started by JR and Loren Ridinger in 1992. Market America is a type of business called an “unfranchise” that uses (MML) multilevel marketing. Distributors build their businesses by selling products and recruiting more distributors.

How Does MARKET AMERICA Work?

Business means work, even in market America. Like most network marketing opportunities, Market America incorporated has a minimum monthly product purchase obligation, auto-ship, in place to qualify your business to accrue and receive a commission.

Market America MLM Review: how it works

To receive your full commission, you need to purchase 200BV worth of the product. BV( Business Volume) is roughly 80% of every wholesale dollar you spend. Therefore, you can earn a commission on all retail products sold and also a commission for BV amassed by you and your team.

The composition plan is what’s commonly referred to as a binary plan where you build one team split up into two parts. You earn a commission when certain volumes are met.

Can You Make Money with MARKET AMERICA?

Market America doesn’t seem to have the usual compensation plan based on commissions. Instead, market America’s Management Performance Compensation Plan (MPCP) pays out money based on how much money the company makes. Money can be made in three different ways.

Like most MLMs, the traditional way is to buy a kit with a certain kind of product and sell it directly to customers. The traditional way to hire people is another option. You can make between $300-$600 per year if you can get two people to join your team.

And lastly, ask customers to sign up for the Shopping Annuity program. Customers who buy things on shop.com get cashback by joining this program. You will also get full credit for any customers you bring in and 30–50% of the gross retail profit.

Market America MLM Review – Program Specifics

When you join Market America, they give you your own web portal on their shop.com site. Then, you choose what kind of products you want to sell through your portal. The Shopping Annuity feature on these products gives you cashback to encourage purchases.

You learn how to use the system and run your business properly during the training. You’ll get a certificate when your training is done.

Cons of Market America MLM Review:

Here are some cons of Market America:

Quarterly Sales Requirements

To maintain your status as a distributor, you must order or sell $200 worth of products at retail price.

Home Country products for personal use

To qualify, you must buy Home Country products for personal use worth 1,500 BV (business volume) in a quarter. You also have to buy the items that cost $3,000.

You have to Pay For Training

One of the strangest things about Market America is that you have to pay for your own training. You must take three required training courses within your first 30 days as a member:

1. New Distributor Training, which costs $5

2. Basic 5, which costs $5

3. ECCT, which costs you $50

Other training is more expensive and comes with a “strongly recommended.”

Pricey Startup Kits

No matter how much you pay, whether it’s $149.95 or $429.95, the start-up cost is high. When you add the yearly membership fee, the monthly fee, and the requirement to buy something every three months, it gets even more expensive.

In a recent federal lawsuit, Multilevel marketer Market America is accused of being an illegal pyramid scheme that targets Chinese immigrants by making them think they will get a chance to make money “unlike any seen in history before.”

lawsuit: Market America MLM Review

Chuanjie Yang and Ollie Lan of California filed a lawsuit against a company in Greensboro, North Carolina, on May 30. The lawsuit says that the company broke the Racketeering Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act and California state law. In addition, it says that the company targets Chinese-American immigrants because they “don’t have regularly available legal channels to defend their legal rights.”

The lawsuit also claims that Market America relies on its representatives to market its products to their Chinese friends and family, the world’s most populated nation. However, Yang and Lan both lost money on Market America.

Is MARKET AMERICA Legitimate?

It is a legitimate business opportunity with a solid compensation plan and unlimited products. But, as with any business, your results are based on your efforts and abilities in marketing your business. Market America Inc. is a legitimized company with fantastic products worldwide distribution and a fair compensation plan.

Market America MLM Review: legal

But that doesn’t mean the opportunity is right for you and your family. Notwithstanding what you will have heard from your potential sponsors or upline leader, building a profitable network marketing business requires introducing your produce, service, and a chance to consistently attract massive numbers of new people over an extended period.

Final Thoughts

Market America, Inc. is an online store that sells goods. The company sells products for health and nutrition, anti-aging, skincare, weight loss, home and garden, pet care, and car care. One problem with MLMs is that you usually only sell one type of product, like vitamins, kitchenware, clothing, or something similar.

Market America MLM Review: final thoughts

You can sell many different kinds of products on Market America, and you can sell more than one kind. Does that make it a better deal, though? At the end of 2020, Truth In Advertising started looking into Market America.

The study found that Market America gave money to more than 450 representatives through its website, blog, and social media pages in the first nine months of 2020.
