How does Scentsy MLM Works?
Scentsy makes products for the house that have a pleasant scent. They advertise these products, however, in a manner that is distinct from traditional advertising and marketing, saving them a significant amount of money. They have hundreds of consultants working to promote the products on their behalf.

Despite this, I identified a significant flaw in the program I was considering. To be eligible for a referral bonus, you must have a minimum of $500 in sales plus a minimum of $1,000 in sales from your team. Because most people who join MLM companies don’t want to be around for the long haul, I don’t think penalizing them for that is fair.
Compensation Plan of Scentsy MLM
As a result, both the ongoing and initial expenses are manageable. However, now is the moment to attempt to understand the highly convoluted compensation scheme.

Cons
- Expensive: This is always the first item I look for when considering joining an MLM. Compared to other products of a similar nature, the prices of these items are astronomically inflated, which raises a major red flag for me.
- Generates less revenue: The Income Disclosure Statement probably won’t surprise you today. Selling $100,000 in Scentsy goods in a year would pay you $16,667. Do you need more? Try selling six figures of $5 items. You’d need to sell 20,000 wax items in a year.
Final Thoughts
The Scentsy MLM opportunity is not one that I would suggest to anybody looking to earn money from home. The MLM firm isn’t what sells the items. Scentsy’s MLM model fails miserably, in my opinion. However, the goods are excellent. Even while the firm is well-known and makes millions of dollars, only about a tenth of the individual consultants make that much.
