Who are We

who are we: 5Linx MLM Review

Eve Pacific Media is an affiliate marketing firm that provides support and guidance to those contemplating or who have chosen to become content creators. We help aspiring bloggers, content creators, and affiliate marketers with their strategies.

My relationship with multi-level marketing or network marketing started in the late 80s. I have had involvement with Shaklee, Primerica, Amway, and, yes, the infamous Consumer Buyline. I enjoyed various levels of success. Back then, I aspired to become an MLM or Network Marketing Pro. Savvy top MLM earners would build massive downlines, breakaway, and move to programs with the most lucrative opportunities during that era. This was a common practice before many States barred those multi-level marketing schemes.

Our goal at Eve Pacific Media is to use my vast experience to benefit others with a series of reviews of multi-level marketing companies.

Founded in 2001 by Craig Jerabek, Jason Guck, and Jeb Tyler, 5Linx is an American company headquartered in New York. The areas where the company provides services are huge, and so is its product line. These are utility, health insurance, nutritional supplements, telecommunication, and business services.

The products and services that 5Linx offers are both personal and professional. Some personal products are ID guards, home security, coffee, tea, and health supplements. The professional products are payment solutions, energy plants, etc., for businesses.

From 2006 to 2009, 5Linx was considered one of the fastest-growing companies by Inc. 500. Till 2014, it has made its place among others on the 5000 lists of Inc.

Is 5Linx an MLM?

The official website of 5Linx declares itself as an MLM company. Hence, there can’t be any confusion regarding how it functions. As a multi-level marketing company, 5Linx pays rewards or commissions to the representatives who sell the company products and services.

If you’re still a bit confused about the diagram of an MLM company, let me clarify. Suppose you’re joining 5Linx as a representative.

Now, you’ll be able to earn commissions or rewards when you can sell the company’s products and services. You can also earn commissions or rewards by recruiting other representatives who’ll be in your downline.

How does 5Linx Work?

At 5Linx, you can join as a representative by paying an application fee of $249. Additionally, you can take up the Platinum Discount Network plan, which costs around $49.99 per month. TeeVee is another plan at the company which is related to cable service. The charges of this plan are $69.99 or $49.99 per month.

As you join the company, you can earn commissions on the products you sell or on recruiting new representatives. Since their service area is quite broad, you can select which services or products you want to sell. A certain percentage of the product prices will be rewarded to you. This is how 5Linx works as an MLM.

Can You Make Money with 5Linx?

Yes, making money with 5Linx is possible, but I would only suggest that if you’re already into marketing or think you’ll be a good marketer. Making money with 5Linx is possible in two ways. You can sell the products or services, and you can also recruit new representatives.

However, like some other MLM companies, the commission from recruitment is higher than the product commissions at 5Linx. That’s because you will also be able to earn multiple ways by recruiting representatives.

As the representatives in your downline sell a product, you’ll also get a certain percentage from the product price as a commission. That’s how most people make money with 5Linx and other MLM companies.

Things I Like about 5Linx

5Linx MLM Review

Here’s a list of things about 5Linx that have impressed me:

1. Own Marketing App

5Linx provides its representatives with some essential tools that are pretty impressive. One such tool is a marketing app like a personal webspace. With the app’s help, you can make your marketing network and stay connected to your customers.

2. Huge Product Line

5Linx presents a vast range of products and services, making it one of the most expanded MLMs globally. And since the product range is huge, the scope for marketing is also better than the other MLM companies with few products.

3. Residual Monthly Income

People make their monthly residual income from the profit they make at 5Linx. All you need to do is market the products well with good communicative skills and recruit new people to join the company. But, it would help if you were really focused on doing well as a representative.

Things I Dislike about 5Linx

5Linx MLM Review

Below is a list of things that are not so impressive about 5Linx:

1. Legal Compliance

The company was issued multiple fraud charges by the lawsuit in previous years. The owners were also imprisoned for 124 months as the court declared that they had filed false tax returns. They had to repay some amount for this issue.

2. Sign Up Charge

I found the signup charge at 5Linx pretty high compared to some other MLMs. The application form is also a little problematic because it suggests taking up additional monthly subscriptions.

Is 5Linx Legitimate?

5Linx MLM Review

Though I’ve mentioned the cons of 5Linx in the previous section, the company doesn’t sound illegitimate to me. There is evidence of people earning a good amount of money from the company as commissions. Also, the products of 5Linx are reliable and safe, as reviewed by genuine users.

Final Verdict –  5Linx MLM Review

To sum up, I’ll say that 5Linx isn’t a scam or fraud company, but to earn from this MLM, you have to be good at marketing. You can try it and see what the scopes are before you completely dedicate yourself to the company. Also, I suggest you skip the additional monthly charges when you sign up for the first time.
