Royal Prestige MLM Review: Money Maker or Money Pit?
Signing up as a distributor for an MLM may appear simple if you seek a way to earn extra money. If someone within the organization has asked you to join them in selling cookware and recruiting others to do the same, then this Royal Prestige MLM review is for you.
However, kitchens require kitchen products, which is a good point for you. Multi-level marketing (MLM) businesses often sell cookware because it is always in demand and can be sold for a good profit. Royal Prestige Cookware is one of those MLM companies that sells products like this. MLMs sweat blood to make it work. Let’s review it.

Who are We
Eve Pacific Media is an affiliate marketing firm that provides support and guidance to those contemplating or who have chosen to become content creators. We help aspiring bloggers, content creators, and affiliate marketers with their strategies.
My relationship with multi-level marketing or network marketing started in the late 80s. I have had involvement with Shaklee, Primerica, Amway, and, yes, the infamous Consumer Buyline. I enjoyed various levels of success. Back then, I aspired to become an MLM or Network Marketing Pro. Savvy top MLM earners would build massive downlines, breakaway, and move to programs with the most lucrative opportunities during that era.
This was a common practice before many States barred those multi-level marketing schemes. Our goal at Eve Pacific Media is to use my vast experience to benefit others with a series of reviews of multi-level marketing companies.
What is Royal Prestige MLM?
Royal Prestige is a Multi-Level Marketing company specializing in selling utensils and other kitchen and home products. Peter O. Johnson founded the company in 1959, and it has its headquarters in Madison, which is located in the state of Wisconsin.
The high-end cookware products they sell are their primary selling point that is not coated with Teflon. An average of 250,000 young customers are added each year to the 4,500 international distributors. In the United States, they have 92 locations, as well as in several other countries.
Kitchenware from Royal Prestige covers a wide range of items, from pots and pans to serving utensils to cutlery and other kitchen products and accessories. Hy Cite Enterprise LLC has been running Royal Prestige since it was founded and has grown to be one of the world’s most successful direct selling companies.
Hy Cite made $195 million in revenue in 2015. They made a profit of $306 million in the year 2019. As a result, the company’s earnings are increasing.
Are Royal Prestige Products Worth Their Price?
Royal Prestige has a line of cookware with cutting-edge technology. It’s possible to choose from three distinct lines of cookware.
- Nutra Ease
- Royal Prestige
- Kitchen Charm
Some of the other products are tableware, juicers, cutlery, and more. Some cookware sets cost between $2,000 and $4,500 per set. Over the years, Royal Prestige products have had their fair share of problems.
A lot of the line’s pots and pans have been taken back. People often told the company that their pans melted or that black spots showed up after using them. So I don’t think so that Royal Prestige Products are Worth Their Price.

The Royal Prestige MLM Opportunity
To become a distributor, you’ll need to be signed up by a sponsor. If you don’t have one already, you will be given one. No work experience is needed, which is a plus, so anyone can sign up.
Demonstrations are how you sell these products, so you can promote them at private parties, outdoor fairs, and bridal fairs.
How Much Does It Cost to Join Royal Prestige?
There is no word on how much it costs to become a distributor for the Royal Prestige MLM. However, you’ll need to buy a starter kit in order to do actual demonstrations.
You do not have to buy anything upfront, outside of the starter kit. It’s wonderful that you don’t need to buy stock to resell, unlike other MLMs.
Can You Make Money with Royal Prestige?
There is no compensation information available in any Royal Prestige MLM Review. Or even on the official site. For now, it is only by recruiting new members and selling things that you can make money, which means that you’ll have to work harder than you would in any other form of job. You’ll be making less money if you don’t have time for it.
If your customer does not pay, you will be charged for the cookware, even though Royal Prestige offers payment plans (because it is so expensive). So be careful. Customers who aren’t reliable can swiftly drain your bank account by this. Nobody can afford to spend thousands on a kitchen set. So I don’t think that you can make sufficient money easily with this MLM.
Pros:
No Experience Necessary
Many people are attracted to multi-level marketing since it does not necessitate any prior work experience. Royal Prestige is no different in that regard.
Profit Potential
Selling even a small number each month can be quite profitable because all products are expensive.
Sales Tactics
The company also encourages sales tactics with free gifts, vacations, and more. It helps bring new customers.
Payment Plans
If your customer can’t pay in full, Royal Prestige offers a payment plan option.
Cons
3-day Return Policy
If the customer doesn’t get their order for a week, they can’t return it within the 3-day window. When a customer places an order, the clock starts ticking right away, even if they haven’t gotten their order yet.
Expensive Products
Their products are expensive. I mean who could spend thousands of dollars on just kitchen pots?
Lawsuit Settlement
As a result of consumer complaints about being tricked into buying expensive cookware using deceptive demonstrations and scare tactics, there was a settlement against Hy Cite in Los Angeles in 2009. The court ordered the company to pay $350,000 in restitution.
Product Recalls
Royal Prestige Cookware was recalled in January 2013 by the Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) due to the product melting or collapsing when exposed to heat. When a pan collapsed on a customer, boiling oil splattered all over him.
Horrible Customer Service
The Better Business Bureau (BBB) has received 50+ complaints about this MLM. Only one of the 50 has a 4-star rating. Other than that, all of the reviews are one-star. Customer Service did not help them. The company has only addressed a few of these issues.
Is Royal Prestige a Scam?
No, this is not a scam. But you should definitely stay away from this MLM. Why? Because of product prices, bad customer service, no return policy, and lawsuits.
There is not much information available about how much distributors get paid or how much it would cost to join. If you have to show how the product works, you probably have to buy a starter kit. But there are no prices listed on the website.
I would rather suggest you start your online business instead of joining any MLM.
Final Thoughts: Royal Prestige MLM Review
However, despite the fact that Royal Prestige Cookware has a solid foothold in the industry and isn’t a scam, there are simply too many drawbacks to joining this MLM. As I discussed in this and other MLM reviews on my website, there are better options available to join MLM companies for side money.
No time is better than now to start an online business, whether you want to make money on the side or quit your job. A traditional brick-and-mortar business would cost you a lot more than an online business would.
There are other ways to set your own hours, make your own money, and be in charge of your work schedule. Check out my number one suggestion if you want to start your own online business.
You’ll learn everything you need to know about starting your own business. You’ll get a website and a place to host it. There is training, help available 24/7, and some pretty cool tools too.
