If you’re into travel and tourism like me, you must be familiar with WorldVentures. In this WorldVentures MLM review, I will tell you exactly what it is and what it does. I’ll also share my experiences on how to make money with WorldVentures and whether it’s a scam or not. Back then, I aspired to become an MLM or Network Marketing Pro. Savvy top MLM earners would build massive downlines, breakaway, and move to programs with the most lucrative opportunities during that era. This was a common practice before many States barred those multi-level marketing schemes.

Founded in 2005, WorldVentures is an American curated group travel company incepted by Wayne Nugent. The founder Wayne Nugent is also known as the master in the field of the ‘Art of Living.’
The most exciting thing about the concept of WorldVentures is that it aligns with the personal ideology of the founder, which is about creating ‘Fun, Freedom, and Fulfilment in everyone’s life.
And so, WorldVentures claims to improve the physical, emotional, spiritual, intellectual as well as financial lives of all its members. All of these things sound great but let’s go into more detail.
WorldVentures actually has built a global network, and the company connects this network by providing travel solutions. Dream Trips Life is the name of the travel platform.
What the software named Dream Trips Life does is that it finds the most exclusive travel deals and allows you to showcase them on your site though hosted by WorldVentures.

Is WorldVentures an MLM?
Yes, WorldVentures is an MLM company. In case you don’t know, MLM means multi-level marketing or direct business. MLM companies boast a massive network of members or consultants who can earn profit by referring others.
MLM companies provide a built-in support system to their members without directly linking them to the brands. Also known as business-in-a-box, these companies can offer good opportunities for individual professionals out there.
How WorldVentures Work?
Now, I’ll talk about how WorldVentures work in actuality. They offer 2 different types of opportunities daily if you become a member. The first opportunity allows you to win bonuses or points that come as rewards or packaged trips by WorldVentures. Your flight and some other travel allowances are excluded from the plans. The second opportunity allows you to sell that membership to others and earn commissions.
WorldVentures Products
WorldVentures provides trips and travel packages to different destinations across the globe. When I opened their official site, I found an excellent package of Africa tours that cover Zanzibar, Zanzibar Urban, and Tanzania. The package includes a 5 days trip in which your lunch, dinner, hotel, WiFi, and other refreshments are covered.
WorldVentures packages are usually very well-planned because they take care of most of the things. For example, the trips include a Know Before You Go guide that tells you about the destination in detail. That’s why these packages are quite in demand among tourists. And probably that’s the reason why the members find it easier to sell these and earn commissions.
How to Make Money with WorldVentures?
As I already mentioned, you can make money with WorldVentures by simply selling the tour packages to buyers. As an independent representative of WorldVentures, you can earn a certain percentage of the trip package as commission.
However, the BBC has made a report that’s quite alarming, stating that the profit is relatively low. The Annual Income Disclosure Statement of WorldVentures in 2016 showed that only 20.05 percent of the company’s independent representatives earned commission and the overriding worth was $200.
So, the Income Disclosure Statement of WorldVentures basically states that the members either earn a meager commission or lose money. Hence, my answer would be that you can make money with WorldVentures, but the amount will be minimal.
Costs of WorldVentures
Here are the costs of joining the WorldVentures team as an independent representative:
- DreamTrips Silver Package: $25 and $25 monthly charges. You won’t earn any points by getting this plan.
- DreamTrips Gold Package: $200 and a monthly charge of $57. You can earn up to 140 travel points as you enroll and 684 travel points at year-end.
- DreamTrips Platinum Package: $300 and $100 monthly fee. You can earn up to 200 travel points as you enroll and 1200 travel points at year-end.
Compensation Plans of WorldVentures
The compensation plan is basically like a triangle or a pyramid. If you imagine yourself on top of the triangle, the people you recruit will be below you. You can earn money in two ways here:
- Recruit new members to your team and earn commissions.
- Promote the tour packages and earn commissions.
Does WorldVentures provide Training Tools?
Yes, as you join, you’ll get training tools in different forms. First, you can learn from your sponsor. Second, they provide QuickCoach, a video series that answers typical queries. Third, a primary training program that makes you aware of recruitment and other processes. Fourth, live events and shows that are quite interactive.
Things I Like about WorldVentures
Here’s a list of things that I really like about WorldVentures:
- The compensation plans are easy and budget-friendly.
- You can earn a commission once you know the real way.
- The plans are so informative that it becomes easy for the seller.
Things I Dislike about WorldVentures
Below are some things about WorldVentures that made me dislike them:
- You need to enroll yourself and pay for it.
- The monthly fees can make you lose money.
- The company disclosure statement is quite scary.
Is WorldVentures Legitimate?
Having said the above, I’ll say that WorldVentures is a legit company. Though I’m skeptical about the value of its commissions as a person’s earnings, the company isn’t a scam and is very much real and reliable.

Overall, I would say that WorldVentures is an MLM that gives you an opportunity to earn, but the amount is not even close to some other MLMs. But, you can still try it and see how you can make the most of it. Good marketing and communication skills are necessary if you want to do well.
